No. Their Wingman talks to your Wingman. Everyone on The Third Date has one; that's the whole point. Nobody's being catfished, because no human ever talks to a bot thinking it's a person. When you finally chat with someone, it's two humans.
It will, occasionally, especially early on. That's why you see every transcript: spot the miss, leave it a note, and it won't make the same mistake twice. Most people are satisfied with their Wingman's representation of them within a week - and it still takes less time than swipe-based apps!
